Found the glich in charging a new Blaze

I was wracking my brain on how to charge my new Blaze.  The battery would simply not show up in the window, only the icon.  I knew it was connected because I could hear it make little chime on the computer.  Finally, I put it back onto my wrist and began to page through my apps on my iPhone.  The old fitbit was still registered and not the new one.  I happened to notice a small sign on top of the tracker and it indicated I could update the device.  From there it was easy.  I found out that YOU MUST SYNC THE NEW FITBIT FIRST BEFORE CHARGING IT.  After syncing on one device, it automatically syncs on all and your computer when you put the already synced fitbit into the charger. The battery also shows up immediately.  Yay!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience here in the Forums, I've moved your post to the Blaze Board so other users can benefit from your comment. Usually when you get a new tracker you need to charge it for at least two hours and then set it up in your Account to have all the information on both tracker and Dashboard.

When your tracker is not charging we recommend restart it and try again. It might be that yours was stuck and that's why you need it to connect it. Anyhow, I'm glad to know that you're ready to rock with your new Blaze.
