GPS has been off since getting my iPhone 7 for runs. Tried a walk afterwards and it appears to be accurate. Anyone else having similar issues or know what is wrong. I'm not zig zagging when I run. 🙂
ThanksRun is way off
Walk seems fine.

Are you saying that this worked OK with a previous phone and has changed since getting the iPhone?

Hmm. Clearly the Fitbit app can only work with the GPS data the phone gives it but proving any sort of problem between the phone and the app is going to be next to impossible unless you have access to other iPone 7's to 'have a go' with and see if there's any differences in performance.

What doesn't make sense is that it works fine if I choose "walk" as the excercise.

No, it could make perfect sense depending what's actually going on. At a slower pace the position samples will be much closer together due to the slower speed so may mask whatever's going on. Without understanding the issue, it's not really possible to say what does and doesn't make sense.

Update - Deleted Fitbit app and reinstalled / sync'd. Still doing it whether its on a run, a walk where I run and a walk where I walk. Really need this fixed as I need accurate runs for this year. Thanks.Watch set to walk
Watch set to run
Set to walk, ran first then walked.

Update, tried a run using another app, Runtastic and the GPS did the same thing. Called Apple and it appears to be a hardware problem. Seeing the "genius" Friday. So, not a Fitbit problem but an Apple one. FYI in case this happens to anyone.

My blaze was great and quite accurate last year when paired with my iPhone 5s.
But when I set it up with my iPhone 7 a month ago, the GPS is WAYYYYY off when I run, but accurate when walking.
But it is accurate when I run the Endomondo app.. Strange.
I will try to ask Apple for help as well.
