GPS route is not correct

How reliable is the fitbit blaze when it comes to recording cycling - I had a spark 3 for a few months but returned it and got the blaze due spark being brutal when it came to syncing, they both sync with strava - issue is my route to work is roughly a 6 mile cycle- spark has it at 6.2 miles but doing same cycle with the blaze it records at 4.2 miles, went shorter way to work last night it recorded as 5 miles their (which is about right) exact same way home this morning and it says 4.5 miles - my phone is in my pocket at all times

Update - just done same cycle back to work,, in 3 attempts going same route - 4.1 miles 4.5 miles and 5.0 miles, how the heck is this!!
