GPS won't connect to app during run

For over 6 weeks now, whenever I start a run, my blaze tells me to 'check Fitbit app' when i'm trying to connect to GPS. I started a live chat with Fitbit over a month ago. They told me engineers were working the issue. But, I don't see that anyone else on the community forum is having this problem?

 

Thoughts?

As you were told, our team is aware of this issue and is working in a solution for it. Your patience will be much appreciated. In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at the My Blaze GPS is not working post and follow the instructions provided there. Also, if you want you can use MobileRun.

How long do you anticipate the solution taking?

I have run through the ‘my GPS blaze isn’t working’ solutions numerous times, but it hasn’t helped.

I don’t really appreciate Fitbit continually telling me to use the app. First of all, I didn’t spend this kind of money to have to use a FREE app, and second of all, when I do use the app it pauses in the middle of my runs and I keep losing valuable data. What’s the point in having the Blaze??
