Galaxy s8 won't pair with my blaze

My Fitbit will do everything but give me notifications since I have switched to galaxy s8. I have unpaired it on old phone. Made sure notifications are on on app and phone. Restated both phone and Fitbit. Tried forgetting device and setting it back up. Not sure that to so now. On Bluetooth it keeps saying unable to pair.

Does it really say unable to pair? Or does it say "Pair rejected by Blaze"

Or you trying to set the tracker up using the app or the phones bluetooth?

Hello @Jessabelle86

It sunds as if your trying to pair the tracker through the phones blietooth.. This is not necessary and will always give a reject mesdage.

First is this a new phone or a new ttacker?

If it is a new phone, simply install the Fitbit app and log in. Your all setup.

If it is a new tracker then through the app choose the add device and follow the prompys.

It is a new phone. That's what I did first and it would not work so that's when I started all the other techniques.

Ok @Jessabelle86 when you log into the app and the app tries to sync, what error do you get?

Have you tried restarting the tracker and phone?

It syncs from app but I do not receive any alerts on my watch like calls, texts, etc. It tracks my steps, sleep, heart rate etc still. I have reset both several times.

I'm not sure why but several have reported that it took a day for the tracker to become a trusted device on the GS8. I was able to speed up the process by clearing the Fitbit app's cache.

I've been having the same issue.  I called Fitbit and they said it is a Samsung S8 issue . Even though on their website they say they are completely compatible.  I have yet to find a solution for over a month now.  Galaxy S8 is compatible with blaze

I have the same problem. I deleted the app. I have to do it again several times, restart blaze and S8. I have written to fitbit several times, they also told me it was Samsung GS8 the problem. I wrote to Samsung who says it's fitbit the problem. Why say that the S8 is compatible if the notifications do not work? GRRRR! It's been a month I'm looking for answers ... still nothing.
I tested with Samsung Tab A, it works. The Blaze connection is done by itself but on S8 have availability but Blaze does not connect completely.

I read some comment on the internet of anyone for whom it worked suddenly for no reason .... I can not wait.
