So new to the Blaze and was fine until I got back from a Motorcycle ride to find it had counted steps and floors - 75 floors and a lot of steps. Dashboard says I was on a bike, but obviously the wrong sort as most of the journey was in excess of 50mph.

It can't be beyond reason to update software to stop it recording when travelling over say 30mph.

Or even have the option to manually stop it recording for that time when travelling - your recommended app does not work with iPhone 7, so it says.

If anyone has an answer Any help will be greatly appreciated

The Blaze uses the phones GPS, when it is in an event tracking mode such as Run, Walk, Hike, and Bike.

Normally it is not connected to the phones GPS

Interesting, while on a motorcycle your arm movements are the same same as they would be on a bicycle. With the ability to auto detect a bike ride, this doesn't surprise me. This does give an easy way of knowing the time period of the ride for marking as driving.

I know that their is a request for have a driving function on the tracker. I'm not sure about an auto detect whule driving, but you have proven tyat an auto detect for motorcycles will not work.

As for soeed, without GPS the tracker has no way of knowing how fast it is moving, it can only measure the acceleration, and i still can out accelerate, up to 20-25mph, most cars while on my bicycle.

I thought the blaze had GPS, which works when in proximity to the phone, which it always is
