Getting Sleep Patterns instead of Sleep Stages

I've had my fitbit Blaze since beginning of this year and have been very happy with until it has stopped tracking my sleep. For the first few weeks it tracked my sleep fine but for the last week it Is just recording restless readings! I've read lots of forums advice and have tried resetting.... changing to sensitive setting but nothing is working. Any help please would be great 😁

Hi there @Clarebear1977. Good to see you in the Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Sleep Stages not showing up on your tracker 😕 Thanks for trying to troubleshoot it by restarting your tracker and adjusting the sensitivity though!

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern as shown in the screenshot below:

Let me know if you need more help with this. I'll be happy to help! 🙂
