I have 2 Blaze fitbit trackers.  If I wanted to gift them to someone do they still need the dongle for WiFi, or is that no longer needed?  I currently wear a Blaze my right wrist (non-dominant wrist), as I was gifted an Apple Watch which I wear on my left wrist (dominate arm).

Blaze can be set up and connected to smartphone with bluetooth, without using dongle.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
