Giving up Fitbit Blaze...

So somehow my Fitbit Blaze buttons stopped functioning and now I am stuck on random screens without being able to return to the Home Screen and see the time, etc...

 

When I called Fitbit Customer support about it, they stated it was out of the 1 year warrenty and thus I need to go speed $200+ on a new device if I want.  The device works it still tracks my steps and everything and reports to my app.  So why would I want a new device?  This makes no sense.

 

I am wondering if others have dealt with this problem and how you over came it?  I really love my Blaze and do not desire to have to replace it.

I have a Blaze and some of the features do not work.  These issues have been going on for well,over a year.  Fitbits  standard response is that they are aware of these issues and their technicians are working on it.  The Blaze has been discontinued so I don’t have any illusions of Fitbit actually doing anything to fix this product.  Their response is to spend your hard earned money on one fo their new gadgets.  I already know what my next fitness watch will be and it won’t be a Fitbit product.  Customer service is not part of their company’s mandate.
