My Blaze has crashed hard two times now since getting it for Fathers Day. The screen is black and the device is inoperable as if the battery is completely dead. After I recharge it, the time is lost, it won't sync with my iPhone and I have to sync over the USB cable to get it back into a functional state.
The interesting thing is that both times this happened I started a round of golf:
Monday: 5:30 tee-time, last tracked steps were at ~6:00
Wednesday: 5:30 tee-time (10 mins of warmup prior), last tracked steps were at ~5:30
I didn't put the watch in "Golf" mode and the battery was fully charged the prior day in both cases.
I also golfed on Sunday and it stopped during my warmup but I know the battery level was low and after I charged it the time was correct and I didn't have to sync with USB to get it working. So this is a potential third time that golfing has screwed it up.
So either the act of swinging a golf club is causing problems with the device, I am somehow pressing some combination of buttons with my golf glove inadvertantly or this is a sign that my golf game sucks and I need to give up. Which is it?

@DanPenn i would scroll to the bottom of the page and read Fitbits warranty, then i would contact Fitbit. Let them know what is happenning, they will be glad to take a look at the back end of your tracker.
The link to contact fitbit can be found in The top right of the page by clicking the settings gear, or under help in the app.

Hi i was just wondering if you solved this issue. I have had my fitbit for less than 30 days the first one i returned due to other issues and now ive had this one and now have gone golfing in the last 3 days and two of the days its dead within first couple holes. Thought it was due to battery issues but i fully charged and it did it again. I am really frustrated and just ready to return it because I go golfing alot and want it to work for that.

I haven't solved the issue but this is definitely a problem. I repro'd the problem another 4 times. The interesting thing is that just swing the club doesn't seem to be a problem in my tests...I have to actually hit the ball. I suspect there is some type of very bursty micro-movement the Blaze isn't handling. My Surge doesn't have this problem.
I'm going to contact support at this point.
