Hi Guys / Girls,

My wife bought me a Fitbit ChargeHR for my Birthday and its straps failed peeling bubbling that seems to be a common issue. The device has been great and has really helped with my fitness so I'm little disillusioned with FitBits quality, I bought my wife ChargeHR last Christmas and we have the Alta scales so we have invested in the FitBit ecosystem.

Anyway we found the purchase receipt and the store has offered to give me a store credit, it was recommended to change models rather than get the ChageHR fixed / replaced due to the above mentioned issue.

The only Fitbit options are the Alta that doesn't have a HR monitor and the Blaze. As there is a bit of a price difference between the ChargeHR and the Blaze basically I need your knowledge in lieu reading all the Blaze entries in this forum can you tell me based on using the device is this a good design will it last general wear and tear is there anything I need to be careful about or has been noted as an issue.

Thanks in Advance

I've had mine for about 3-4 months and I am loving it, I found it to be a great upgrade. I would however recommend to buy a good amount of tempered glass screen protectors off of eBay to further protect you devices screen. I've had a few break already and it's so much easier to replace a screen protector then having the actual screen break!

I have a Blaze and like it. I agree with Smile1 about getting a screen protector

Thanks for the replies, they helped me decide to go ahead and get the Blaze. I'm going to look into the screen protectors.

Hello @DeepBlueSky welcome to the Blaze family! I'm sure you will love the Blaze Heart I had the Charge HR and it was my favorite tracker until the removable wristbands and colorful display of the Blaze stole my heart. @J-flex and @Smile1 thanks for your cooperation! 😉

I'll be around if you have any questions! 🙂
