Hello community,
I've had Surge for a couple years and I showered with it many times and only a few times did I get the screen to fog up. I'm guessing this is the reason why the band broke near the device but that's not what this post is about... While I never pruposely showered with it, it was good to know that I wouldn't have to worry when I forgot that I was still wearing it. I recently got a Blaze and I'm wondering if anyone has ever accidently showered with it on? I'm not planning on purposely doing it but I know the day will eventually come that I hop in and forget to take it off...
By the looks of the following youtube video, I shouldn't have to worry about accidently showering with it but figured the community would have accidently done similar (shower/wash dishes in a sink/etc) more than once...

If you do shower with it accidentally, it probably wouldn't hurt to put it in a jar/bowl of rice overnight. to absorb any moisture that may have gotten into the tracker.

I have showered with the Blaze a few time by accident. Didn't seem to hurt it at all.

Welcome to the Community @PuDLeZ. @bcalvanese and @John917 thanks for stopping by. All Fitbit trackers are water resistant, which means they are rain proof and splash proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. I recommend not swimming or showering with your tracker. Though a little water won't hurt the device, wearing it 24/7 does not give your skin a chance to breathe. Whenever you get your tracker wet, dry it thoroughly before putting it back on.
Catch you later.
