Heart Rate as tool

I'm retired, exercise moderately and have afib. I bought the Blaze as a watch and a way to monitor my heart rate. I realize that it is not a medical device, but it does provide an indication of what's going on.  I had an incident a cople of weeks back where I was in a peak zone for about 4 hours while I was just sitting around. I double checked this using a medical device for BPM and pressure.  The two different BPMs were close.

I would like to get a printout of the event, but can't as the log on the Fibit site is limited. It shows what is happening as an activity for the day and what the heart BPM is doing during that activity when one calls up the Detailed View.  If one tries to look during a specified time range, there is no indication on the screen for a "Detailed View" which would allow me to look at my BPM over that time range.  The only things that one appears to access is the steps, floor and calories during that specified time range.

It would be nice if Fitbit would add this feature which could open up some new marketing areas.

Hi there @MRFitz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂

You can actually see detailed information about your daily heart rate from your mobile device. For that, tap on the HeartRate tile and then scroll down to see the individual days. Tap on a desired day and the graph will appear at the top and details about how long you were on each heart rate zone. To get a detailed view on this, just tap on the graph at the top and if you put your finger on the graph, you will notice that the information for that specific time will appear and you can swipe your finger across the graph to see the changes  throughout the day as you can see in the image below:

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else!

Thank you. The information is great and one I will pass on to others.

The thing that I was initially looking for was a way to compare more than one incident and/or show my doctor. My first thought was being able to print out the information. I think that I would still like to do this, but the solution you have provided goes a long way to giving my doctor a better picture.

While I did learn on my own how to get to the BPM graph, I had not realized I could actually follow the time and BPM with my finger. If you can, please let others know.

Regards,

Hey @MRFitz. Thanks for getting back! 🙂

I understand now what you mean with this. Currently, there is no way to export heart rate data for you to print it out but there is a feature request in our Feature Request board for this to be a thing where you can add your vote and comments and hopefully we can see something like this implemented soon. To be able to vote for the request, click here.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else!
