Well, as I'm really going to the gym on everyday basis and I have noticed that the Blaze does not show the correct Heart Rate specially for high intense activities. I came to this conclusion by comparing fit bit results with what I've got from other monitors (most of them located in the available equipments such as Treadmill, Stair mill and Elliptical).
Believe it or not, in ALL the situations of intense activities in which I was out of breath, I read the measures of the Fit Bit and, in many cases, showed values far from what I noticed in myself or in what I saw in the sensors located in other equipment ... always lower ... something like 80 or 90 bpm. I am dissatisfied with the product as this has a direct impact on calorie counting and training accompaniment.

It's great to see you around @atormena.
If you are having issues with your heart rate information, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Also, here are some other tips to properly wear your tracker to have a better heart rate reading.
Let me know the outcome.

I completed a spin class this morning and my Blaze was showing a wide variation in my heart rate! When I'd expect it indicate a rate in the region of 120bpm it was showing around 80bpm. I took off the watch and cleaned the back then put it back on. This time I got reading around 250bpm (should be dead!). I also tried adjusting the strap and still got erratic readings.
Has anyone any suggestions on what may be causing this problem? It's not the first time this has happened to me in the 6 months I've had the watch.

I have found exactly the same problem,in some cases burning as many calories doing my normal weights routine as in a spinning class! I have used a number of different monitors over the years and have been using the fitbitbit blaze for over a year and am very disappointed as it is in my opinion the most inaccurate monitor I have used.

My Blaze heart rate also does not work at the gym. The Blaze appears to report a reasonable HR at other times but during gym workouts it falls to 60 and stays there. The machine I am on reports an HR of 115 for example, but the Blaze reports 60 and does not significantly change during the workout.
My daughter borrowed it during her workout and it reported correctly, staying within a reasonable HR as compared to the machine she happened to be on. When my wife borrowed my Blaze, her HR also fell to a low number and just sat there. She is 68, 2 years older than me. Maybe age has something to do with HR accuracy.
I have had 3 discussions with Fitbit support. I made the recommended changes to no avail.

Hello Alejandra,
thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately your recommendation did not work and, sincerely speaking, the way to use Blaze does not solve the issue of inaccuracy in HR reading.
I mean that using the tracker higher on my wrist, not wearing too tight, stopping workout for 10 seconds or don't move my arms while exercising obviously DO NOT solve the problem... it would be more honest on the part of Fitbit to take responsibility for the product development flaw and somehow solve the problem and not exonerate itself from liability by saying that the user should use the product differently.
All those situations should be prevented before releasing this product for us to buy...
For that reason, I am not convinced that the new launch of Fitbit works better than this.
