Heart Rate monitoring stopped working

The heart rate monitor stopped working over the last few weeks. Initially it was intermittent but over the last week it has stopped completely. All the other features (steps, calories , stairs etc) seem to be working. I have tried switching the heart rate monitor between 'on' & 'auto' and have also tried shutting down and restarting many times. Monitoring the quality of sleep is one of the primary reasons I use fitbit for and the lack of heart rate information means I can't get this information any longer. Please advise me as to what I can try next. Thank you Neil

PS - Also forgot to mention that the LED lights are Working.

Thanks Alejandra - unfortunately support team couldn't help me on this occasion (they did try). So if anyone else have any suggestions, I would definitely appreciate it.
