I know this has probably been done to the death but the only answer I find is "reset your FitBit" and "make sure it's not too loose" - I have done both countless times.
So, my issue, recently I have noticed my RHR a lot lower (in the 60s) than usual, usually around 72/74bpm. Im actually a bit more unfit lately so i compared it by taking my pulse manually....it's sometimes out by 20bpm!!!
I've also noticed gaps in my heart rate while I sleep!
Now I'm going to assume my heart isn't stopping as im here writing this...but equally, is this something I should be concerned about or is it a fault?

Hi @Minnie87, thanks for reaching out the Forums. Welcome!
We appreciate all the steps that you've tried to fix the issues with your heart rate. What you mentioned that is currently happening with your HR reading is not normal. Heart rate may be affected by any number of factors at a given moment. Movement, temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position, caffeine intake, and medication use are just a few things that can affect your heart rate.
Different medical conditions and medications can impact your heart rate. So please consult your doctor before starting an exercise routine.
In this cases the usual workaround is to restart your Fitbit and then check if this erratic behavior continues. Also turning off/on the heart rate on your Blaze might help. You can give it a try but if this is not solving the issue and the accuracy tips here didn't work either. We will have to get in touch with our support team.
Keep me posted.
