I was pretty excited to get the blaze and have a heartrate monitor that could better track the activities I enjoy, namely hiking, ice hockey, rock climbing.
These activities often push me into peak heartbeat zones at around 180 BPM. I've noticed my tracker really struggles with anything higher than 160. Most times after 160, the guage will blank out ("--"). I should note that the dashboard will assume the last known heartrate, which is better than severe drops to zero, but is not entirely accurate.
Is there a way to fix this? Has anyone gotten higher than 160/165? I'm concerned there is a major mis-step as I imagine most who buy the product aren't concerned with the heartrate while reading, but rather they want accurate data while pushing themselves.
Is there a solution aside from the general, restart?

Yep, I've had it over 180. This morning I did some reps and recorded the following, where 172 was the peak

Not a problem see 180 and 185 multiple times.

My blaze has just completely stop tracking BPM. Is less than year old. Have serious concerns fir the support and technology. Have asked for help w their support desk, however no resolution. A waste of money.
