Heart rate, sleep and syncing issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
  • I have noticed in recent months that when I look at my watch, my active heart rate doesn't show on either the watch screen or the "today" screen. Syncing to my S7 and it doesn't show there either.
  • Since April 29 none of my sleep data is coming through.
  • I have had issues with syncing in recent months and have to disconnect from Bluetooth, etc., as per solutions found in other posts. My synced sleep data since late Jan was only showing basic info.

Hi,

I have previously reviewed those pages but for the heck of it i did it again. I set my heart rate tracking to "ON" and my heart rate displays on the clock face but not on the today screen and no data shows when synced.

I have tried all those tips for sleep data and nothing has helped.

I also have noticed that my steps per hour (doing the 250+ widget) also doesn't update on my phone, but is updating on the watch.

The only thing i changed in recent times was when i had syncing issues i removed the bluetooth pairings from my phone and put back just the normal pairing (not the bluetooth classic pairing).

Thanks for the information @OttoVonT.

There is an option called "Live Data" (see attachment), have you checked if you have this option on? If you haven't, from a computer do the following:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click the gear icon
  3. Go to Blaze
  4. Click Live Data
  5. Enable this option
  6. Sync

Live data was already enabled. An additional observation is that the heart rate showing on the clock face appears fixed at 70 when my resting rate is below that. I also noted that during the day sometime the steps widget updated but failed to pick up that for the first 3 hours I achieved the 250 steps per hour which showed on the today screen. About the only thing I have yet to try is to re-enable Bluetooth classic which I removed when previously having syncing issues.

I have done further tests:

1) re-enabled Bluetooth classic.

2) switched heart rate from "on" to "auto"

I then observed sleep data (basic) was transmitted last night, and steps data was complete for today. Heart rate on clock face disappeared and not being synced. I have just switched heart rate back to "on" and clock face displays "70". Steps widget has stopped being updated!

I appreciate the update and for telling me what have you tried so far @OttoVonT. Since all of these steps haven't worked, I've gone ahead and escalated your case to our Support Team for them to take a deeper look at this, keep an eye on your inbox for further instructions.
