I noticed that my Blaze shows my heart rate well over 100 when I walk. My resting rate is usually around 55 and I know it is well under 100 when walking, I have verified with other devices. This has caused a bunch of issues, my active minutes are incredibly high and most importantly my calories burned are way off. I sync with MyFitnessPal, and when I walk 10,000 steps I am given an extra 1,400 calories to eat, meaning it says I can eat over 4,200 calories for simply walking the basic 10,000 steps per day.
My theory is the heart rate monitor is counting my steps instead of my heart beat but I am unsure if there is anything I can do. I have tried wearing it in different positons and both looser and tighter with no success.

Ghis sounds very strange @mgeorgalas. Good to see you around!
I don't think your tracker is counting your steps as your heart rate as it relies on the heart rate sensor for this matter but still, the count doesn't seem good.
I can recommend restarting your tracker by pressing the left and lower right buttons for about 10-12 seconds and this will make your tracker to reboot. After restarting your tracker, try it out and see if this makes any difference while using it.
Let me know how it goes and if you need any more help!

How tightly are you wearing the Blaze? It should be snug to your skin without being too tight. I find if mine is loose the HR reading looses its accuracy.
