Height incorrectly put and distance is still incorrect

Hi guys so I was wondering why the distance on the blaze was incorrect. then I did some research and realised my height was totally wrong. So I corrected my height and I made sure that I synced the blaze afterwards. but it seems that the distance is still incorrect. Do I maybe need to do a factory reset? or what can I do to make it work correctly? I did restart the fitbit but I don't think that's gna work at all. Thanks

I don't understand why it is so inaccurate. my stride length is set to
automatic. I have done 1032 steps so far and the distance is 0.05km??

Have you done a successful sync since changing the height, if not the tracker still thinks your very small, and issues that for your stride calculations.

A note on auto stride, it is based on the average person with the same height, age, gender, etc.. This basically means it will only be perfect for a few, but should be close for many.

yes it has synced properly quite a few times. That's why I don't understand
what the issue is. Maybe I should do a factory reset so that I can start
fresh?

Have you checked and set your stride?

Still trying to figure out how to work this out coz I don't have access to
a track. so I need an easy alternative. but so long I used a calculation
that works out the average for people my height. gna see if that works out
better till I can work out my stride length more accurately.

Any suggestions?

Hi @naseema. Good to see you around! 🙂

Have you tried to set up your tracker as a new device?

You can do this by going to the Account section on your app and here, tap on the option that says "Set up a new Fitbit device". Once you are there, just follow the on-screen instructions and after it's paired again, try it out and see how it goes!

Let me know if this worked for you.
