During an exercise you get 2 numbers displayed at any time. The larger number cycles through distance, steps, calories, pace, etc. The smaller number always shows elapsed time.
A couple of weeks ago I changed this setting. For runs I set the smaller number to current pace. This is much more relevant to a runner (in my opinion).
Since then the option to change this has disappeared from the website.
Then I allowed the last software update to install on my Blaze and the smaller number has changed back to elapsed time. And I can't change it back. Gutted!
Why would Fitbit REMOVE this feature when it WAS working?

Whenever I go for a run I leave it at displaying the overall elapsed time and the heart rate but I have to cycle through to get the heart rate to show up. It isn't ideal to have to be flicking at a watch screen while running. Maybe they'll figure out a way to make this even more customizable in the future.

It isn't the clock face. You get a separate screen when you begin an exercise.
