How Do I track My Own Workout Routines?

I have been using the Microsoft Band 2 for a little over a year now and other than the strap tearing issue, its worked great. When I go to the gym I load my routine on the band and I'm able to track my custom routine that I created, set by set as I workout. When I'm done I sync to the Microsoft Health app and it records the calories burned, my HR, etc. I've had the Fitbit Blaze for less than an hour so I'm hoping that there's something I'm missing because I don't see any way to do the same with the Blaze. I go to the Activities tab on the dashboard and it seems I have to manually enter in the data AFTER my workout, which doesn't help me at all. So my question is, is what I can currently do with the MS Band 2 just not possible with Fitbit or am I just not looking in the right place? Also, Fitstar is not an option, as I don't need or want to use a prepackaged routine I would just like to track my own routines.

To track the calories the first thing you will want to do is put the Blaze on the arm.it sounds as if your describing Fitstar where tye tracker will guide you, unfortunately this currently is not customizable. 

The Blaze has a multisport mode that allows the user to break apart the fitness time for easier viewing and analyzing.

Understood, I do this on my Apple Watch using an app, that later syncs to my phone.

 

The Fitbit world has no concept of sets, reps, and weight. You cannot manually create a weight lifting routine. All you can do is log time/date started, duration, and calories. Therefore you cannot easily do a routine and track progress on bench press, overhead press, etc. I'm kinda surprised the fitness tracker world is slow to embrace weight lifting, another fitness platform that I primarily use for cycling is very very good at multi-sport (cycling, swimming, running, hiking, skiing, walking, etc), and has basic support for weight lifting, but no ability to create/save a weights routine and use it in the future (versus I can create/save cycling intervals workout and load it anytime in the future).
