How can I track rowing using my Fitbit Blaze?

I'm in a hotel and am curious about something.  Yesterday, I went and worked out in the exercize room.  When I stepped on the elliptical machine, it went throught it's normal routine of asking my age, weight, what type of workout etc.  The weight that it started with was 155 pounds....coincidentally my exact weight.  That COULD have been a coincidence.  When the workout was complete, the machine said that I'd burned 341 calories.  When I checked my fitbit app....BAM....341 calories.  Another coincidence?  Today, I worked out again.  Again, it started at the same weight as yesterday.  Still probably a coincidence.  I did the exact same workout but today, I must have worked a little harder because it said that I burned 358 calories.  I checked my fitbit app and there it was.....358 calories.

I can't remember the brand of elliptical machine but it never asked me anything about pairing my fitbit to it.  I'm wondering if these exact weights and calorie counts were a coincidence.  I've been using a fitbit for almost a year now.  I'm a pilot and travel for a living.  I've never had a machine match my fitbit results exactly.  Occasionally they are close but two days in a row with the EXACT same count is a bit strange.  Do some machines have access to our fitbit data?

Thanks for any replies.

The machines do not have access to the fitbit data. Chalk it up to coincident

I woudn't have thought so but exactly identical data two days in a row seemed almost too concidental to be true.  I've never had a maching give an exact match ONCE and I stay in a LOT of hotels and use a LOT of different machines.  Two days in a row was really strange.

Thanks for the reply!
