Okay so I'm new to the Blaze. If I set it up for tracking and put in spin class with it track steps too even if it's on my wrist? Or do I wear it on my ankle for the steps?

hi! when youre spinning youre not stepping, youre spinning! when you set the blaze to spin workout it will record your calories and use that to track the work out from my experience.

Right I know I'm spinning. However I'm going to loss out on all those steps then? If I were on a bike outside it would count them so I don't know why it wouldn't count...

If you're more concerned with steps than you could try that, but I would just set it to cycle for the HR and calorie burn accuracy & than enter that into your MFP if you use one. The elliptical doesn't count accurate. steps either which is crazy to me.

If I'm after the step count, I wear my Blaze on the ankle, it won't she a correct heart rate though.

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine.
Regarding your inquiry about spinning, my recommendation for you is to select the activity directly from your Fitbit Blaze, then your information will automatically be showed in your exercises. You can wear your tracker normally since you won't earn that many steps while spinning.
If you don't have this exercise in your Blaze, you can follow the instructions provided in the How do I customize the exercises on my Fitbit device? article to add it.
Catch you later.
