I was charging my fitbit earlier today, and I needed to charge it. I plugged it in, proceeded to forget about it, and went about my day. Today, I checked my average and it was down because I forgot to unplug it. Is there any way to cancel out the day or add an amount of steps that won't mess up my average?
Thanks!!

Hi, @TheEleventhCat! You can manually add a walk as an activity during that period.

It's great to welcome you @TheEleventhCat and @MakMak thanks for stopping by.
There isn't a way to cancel out the day you forgot to wear your tracker but as mentioned, you can manually log the activity "Walk" to add the steps you missed by doing the following from your Fitbit app:
1. Tap the "+" icon
2. Tap Track Exercise
3. Enter your information
4. Tap Log It
5. Sync
I hope this helps, see you around.

This doesn’t answer the question that was asked.
I also would like to add the steps I took during the day (tracked by my phone because I forgot to wear my tracker). It wasn’t a ‘walk’ it was a day of walking.

If you choose Walk under Track Exercise, you can select steps as an alternative to distance.
