How do I figure out calories burned during an exercise?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

When I wear my Blaze while on my stationary bike, how do I figure out calories burned? My bike is 104 calories burned and my Blaze says 31. Should I have to keep manually entering the data?

Thanks for your help!

Hey there @dawne48183, welcome to the Community.

How are you logging your activities? Are you selecting the exercise directly from the Blaze, are you using SmartTrack or are you manually logging your activities? If you want to know how many calories you burned during an exercise, you just need to go to the exercise tile on your Fitbit app, select the exercise you want to see, tap the calories option and see how many calories you burned (see attachment).

Thanks for your help! Here is. Screenshot of my dashboard. Can you tell me where the exercise tile is? I was on for 35 minutes and it just seems weird that I only burned 34 calories.

Thanks again

It also only said I was active for 10 minutes, when it was 34 minutes😔

You will need to post a screen shot you have access to your private days.

Active minutes are minutes when the body is burning at least 3 times its BMR and has nothing to do with total exercise minutes.

Let's go to Fitbit's searchable help doc, link found below as help.

I posted a link above to my screenshot.

That is a link to your private exercise event and I simply get error since it is not associated to my account.

Thanks for the update @dawne48183 and for stopping by @Rich_Laue.

Unfortunately, I am not able to see your screenshot, you can follow the instructions in this post in order to attach a new image. But regarding your inquiry, you can see my attachment to identify the exercise tile.

About your active minutes, were you active all the 34 minutes? Since keep in mind that if you stop in the second 59 that minute won't count as active. For more information take a look at the What are active minutes? article.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
