How do u turn off heart sensor and still monitor heart rate?

I want to turn off the heart sensor on my blaze need help but also I still want the blaze to monitor the heart rate how do I go about doing so?

I'm not sure I understand. If you turn off the heart rate sensor there is no way to monitor your heart rate using your fitbit.

The heart rate sensor is like a light bulb, you turn ut off and it stops putting out light.. For the Fitbit if you turn it off it stops reading your heart rate.
