How does my Blaze estimates my calories burned?

I would like to know if calories burned during some activity also count BMR. I've been using the Blaze watch for over a year, and I think that it shows only calories burned for exercise, because the numbers are always below from my old polar, and my data in the app is right.

For example, if I did a spinning class and my watch shows that I've burnt 350 calories during this activity, this number represents just active calories or it would add up calories burned with exercise + calories to breath, etc (BMR)?

It's great to welcome you @giolaborne.

If you want to have more information about calories burned, I recommend taking a look at the help article How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?.
