How to add a "new" exercise in Fitbit ?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I would like to add item such as tai chi or king fu in my blaze exercise on my watch. But it does not let me add something that is not in the exercise shortcut in the app. I tried to go online to do that it let me add an activity instead, which does not display on my watch exercise option, I think we need a solution for this, it's not that hard to update this.

Thanks

You can not add something that is not listed. You can Use workout Mode for what is not listed.

You can also make a suggestion in the features forum. If it gets the votes it could get added.

Welcome to the Community @cblaze and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

I took the liberty and searched for a request like and found this one. Please check the Custom Exercise Shortcut request, vote for it and leave your comment. Keep in mind that you can always manually log these activities by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to the Activities page by clicking Log at the top of your dashboard, then click Activities.
2. Under Log Activities, click a common activity or search for your activity in the search box.
3. Select your activity from the search results. If the activity is not in our system, you have the option to create your own activity by clicking the Create custom activity text that will appear below the search field.
4. Enter the duration, distance (if applicable), and start time of your activity. You have the option to manually enter the number of calories burned here if you'd like to.
5. Click Log Activity. Your activity will now be visible and editable in the Logged Activities area.
