@Frankie23  I add friends via the phone app.  Click on the "friends" tab, then you will see "Add friends". From there you can choose the various ways to add ( Facebook, contact, or email.)

Hope that helps!

The easiest way to find out @Kmransom123 would be to scroll to the bottom of the page, click on help, then type friends into the search bar.this document will pop up.

The steps are to go to your list of friends press/click add sign.

You can add by email, search contacts, or connect to facebook. If someone sends you a request then press accept in the requesr email.

Hello @Frankie23 welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 It's great to have you here, You can add a maximum of 2,000 friends either from the fitbit.com dashboard or from the Fitbit app. You can choose to add friends by one of the following methods:
- Contacts—See your contacts who have Fitbit accounts and those who don't. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend. The Fitbit apps for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 also show you friends of friends. Friends of friends appear only if your friends do no privatize their friends list. (Not available on the fitbit.com dashboard)
- Facebook—If you choose to connect with Facebook, see your friends who also have Fitbit accounts linked to Facebook. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend. You can later revoke access to Facebook from your Fitbit account by changing your settings on your fitbit.com dashboard, or through the settings on your mobile device. If you have more than one Facebook account, you can only link one to your Fitbit account.
- Email—Type in the email address of anyone to want to invite to Fitbit.

When I click add from contacts it only shows me friends that do not have Fitbit.  How do I see the ones that do?

Best Answer

Welcome to the Community @Mtngirl288! When you click on friends and the plus sign you'll get three options: contacts > Facebook or email. When you're in the contacts option, the first thing you're going to see is "Friends with Fitbit" and after this people that don't have a Fitbit yet. In case there are no friends with Fitbit in your tab, this means that your friends may have a tracker but isn't paired to the email address you have saved in your phone.

Additionally, you may want to check this article How do I connect with friends on Fitbit? for other options in adding people.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
