How to delete a lap?

I am not a runner, so I apologize in advance if this does not make sense!

The first time I ran using my Fitbit Blaze, I think I accidentally created a lap while on my run. Now, everytime I follow the same route on my run, it automatically includes information about "lap 1" and "lap 2" even though they aren't technically laps. For now, I'm just running a short distance (1 mile) so I can just ignore this information. But in the future, I I become more of an avid runner, I may want to actually use this feature to track actual laps. Is there a way I can delete the "lap" that I accidentally created so as not to confuse information in the future?
