How to delete apps that are no longer installed on "Apps Notifications"

Quick question everyone. Does anyone know how to delete apps that are no longer installed on the phone but are visible on the "App Notifications" tab on the Fitbit app?

For example, on the below screenshot, I no longer have Narcos: Cartel Wars installed on my phone but it still appears here as a option.

I have already tried, logging out, closing app, rebooting phone and logging back in. Also, on IOS.

Sorry just a little bit OC. Thanks for any help!

Hi there @jvreyes123! Great to have you in the Community! 😄

For  getting rid of the apps that you no longer have installed on your phone from the App Notifications section, set up your tracker as a new device. Make sure to sync it to avoid losing any information and then, go to the Account section. Here look for the option that says "Set up a new device" and follow the on-screen instructions. Once it's ready, go to the App notifications section again and see if this has worked.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks Ferdinand. It worked as per your solution. Although I did have to click the "Remove This Blaze" before adding it back. And thanks, glad to be here!

This sounds more of a work around than a final solution. If you had 10 apps with notifications and you wished to remove one, then this way you would have to start again accepting notifications from the remaining 9.

Sounds really, this should be added to the fitbit app future features list to enable deletion of each third party app on the list.

Great to see you in the Community @psl3! And I do agree with you. As of right now, this is the work around for this but you can feel free to add the suggestion to the Feature Suggestions board for others to be able to vote for it.

Anything else, let me know!

Yes this has been a big gripe for me, for a while.  I don't think that enough people are bothered about it for Fitbit to do anything about this -ever.

Yeah, I noticed that deleting the fitbit app and reinstalling seems to be the only way around it. cumbersome at best. Fitbit should fix it and add a delete button.

Hey there @jvreyes123 @mattwp74, great to have you guys in the Community! 🙂

At the moment, I have no news on this but as a workaround, you can do what @jvreyes123 says of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This will for sure take care of it.

Thanks for understanding and anything else you may need, I'm here to help!

Probably not to hard, but adding a delete button would simply be another workaround. At the minimum i would want to be able to pull down on the list to force a refresh. The same pull down that forces a sync on the desktop. Most of my apps also have this feature.

That would be nice. Don't think it will ever happen though if they aren't even thinking about rectifying the situation.
