How to use data export?

I would like to export raw data to my pc but the "data export" option is not visible.

Help says to select the gear icon on the dashboard 

I do not see a gear icon on my dashboard

A warm welcome to the Community @Geraldmaguire! The settings option is located in the online Dashboard. Just login into https://www.fitbit.com/login > click on settings > data export.
