Hello everyone! There are several ways to record your activities with the Blaze, I would like to share information about the multisport or exercise mode.
MULTISPORT (EXERCISE) MODE
It is used to track precise exercise stats you can tell your tracker when exercise starts and stops. When using multisport mode on Fitbit Blaze you can track GPS data for certain exercises if you have a compatible mobile device with you. You can use connected GPS, it is available for iOS and Android mobile devices. If you're an Android user, first turn on call, text, or calendar notifications before using connected GPS. For more information about this click here.
To track exercise:
- On your tracker, swipe to the Exercise screen and tap it, then swipe to find the exercise of your choice.
If you see a gear icon in the lower left corner, that exercise offers connected GPS. Tap the gear to see an option for turning GPS on or off. Press the Back button (left) to return to your exercise.
- Tap the exercise to select. You’ll see the Let’s Go! screen.
If you chose a connected-GPS exercise, you’ll see a phone icon in the top left. The dots mean your tracker is looking for the GPS signal. When the phone icon turns bright and the tracker vibrates, you know GPS is connected. Note that a weak GPS signal may cause your route and other activity data to be inaccurate.
- Tap the screen’s Play symbol or press the Select button (lower right) to begin tracking your exercise. A stopwatch appears showing your elapsed time. Tap or swipe up and down to scroll through your real-time stats or check the time of day.
- When you’re done with your workout or want to pause, tap the pause icon or the Select button (lower right).
- To see a summary of your results, tap the flag icon or press the Action button (upper right).
- Tap Done or press the Back (left) button to close the summary screen.
Syncing your tracker stores the workout in your exercise history. There you can find additional stats and see your route if you used connected GPS.
Also some activities like Run and Bike have a gear icon on the bottom left corner where you can change specific settings for each activity.
Hope this helps! 😉

@AngelaMa is having the notification a requirement on Droid devices? I have encountered issues where my Blaze and the S6 will not connect prior to starting an exercise and wonder if this could be the root cause.
Any guidance is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andhanni
