How works the warranty in a replacement?

Bought my Fitbit in 11/2017 and they are going to replace the unit due to it not charging and subsequently dying. Looks like the warranty period is 2 years, will my warranty apply to the replacement unit for the remainder of the 2 years, does the replacement unit get a new 2 year warranty or is the warranty a one time use? If anyone know, I would love to know the answer!

Thanks

Hi @Freaknificent

The warranty is for a set period, based on your location. In the US, it's one year, in Europe, it's two years from the date of the purchase of the original device. Replacement devices have the remainder of the warranty period, but it is not extended.
