Hello @sbrb, are you asking how to add the tracker as your post inquires? Or is it a case of the add device function fails as the title implies?
Not knowing what device you have i would say go to the www.fitbit.com/setup through the device you want to setup the tracker with. This site will direct you to the proper software.
Install and run the software
Log into your Fitbit account
If this is your first tracker ot should prompt you to setup a device.
If not tap settings, then setup device
Follow prompts.
