I can't see emoticons

The Blaze shows me "?" For emoticons I receive in texts. On the positive side that introduces some (unnecessary) curiosity to the message, however, I'd rather see the message without having to pull my phone out to decode those question marks, because by doing that, the purpose for notifications on the watch was defeated.
Any smart person out there that can help me?

Does a moderator or anyone else know if there could be iOS emoticon support for the future?

So I've seen a few people mention that they don't get (or sometimes don't get) notifications from iMessage. I've discovered that if an individual sends me an iMessage with a photo or emoticon I won't get that text notification on the Blaze. OK, but I've also discovered that I won't get ANY FURTHER notifications from that particular sender's iMessages until I delete the entire text history from from that person from the phone. I'll get notifications from other people, but not the person who sent me the photo/emoticon.

Again, I'm not talking about the photo or emoticom message itself, but ANY subsequent message from that sender until I go to the phone and delete the text chain fully.

This is repeatable on my Blaze/iPhone.

@xXScubaSteveXx @SunsetRunner @Kmransom123 Welcome to the Community! That's correct the emoticons won't show in your Blaze, instead it will show a question mark. However, you can post this idea in our Ideas Board because those suggestions are viewed directly by our engineers and developers and the best of this is that people can vote for them.

Hope I can see your ideas soonRobot Happy

The emoticons are not photos but treated like an ascii charectors.

I've moved your post @kschannen to the main thread. Please see above.

Thanks, all!

I know emoji support and others are a top request in the Blaze Community. Please add your vote for this here, a relevant Feature Request by @Ma920317

We'll be presenting the top requests to the appropriate teams on a regular basis. Thanks again for everyone's input.

I am using iPhone 6s. I have found that when someone sends me an emoticon, all subsequent messages from that person will not come through on the Blaze unless I reset it (or clear all messages from the Blaze, but I haven't confirmed that yet). Has anyone else had this problem, or is there a fix?
