I can't set up Blaze

I can't set up my BLaze. It is linked by dongle to my surface laptop using windows 10. it recognises the device but after I enter the code it will not proceed further. I have tried a device reset but that didn't work. Any ideas?

Are there any other Bluetooth devices around? Like another Fitbit or your Phone? If so it needs to be moved away and it will cause problems in setting up

Another thing to try is using the charging cord. 

Put the tracker into its charger

Plug the charger into the laptop

Let the Win 10 app do the setup through this wire and not the dingle. 

 

You might also find the dongle is not needed since the Surface has its own Bluetooth.
