Accepted Solutions

Notifications comunicate through the BTLE not the  BT Classic which is only used for music control.

@TokenFatBloke i hope the tracker was not removed from the Fitbit account  by removing it from the app.

Is the old iPhone 7 still around? If so, make sure there isn't a connection to the Blaze in the phone's bluetooth settings that may be blocking connection to the S8

Make sure you pair ph. with Blaze Classic not just blaze. When blaze classic is paired with Phone  a pop up mgs should appear to approve notifications access ect.. if it doesn't then try going into your Samsung S8 settings..then go into lock screen and security... then scroll down check that notifications is On ...then scroll further down go into Other security settings... open and then scroll down to notifications access and slide the Fitbit notifications services to On. Update the app if it isnt current as well. Hope this helps.

yep understand classic is for music but the Samsung s8 (well mine didnt anyway) wont pair with Blaze but does with classic As i said i have the Samsung s8  and since it  paired with Blaze classic i get all my notifications, like calls and mgs or what ever notifications ive chosen to receive from ph to my blaze, it  would never pair with just Blaze.no matter what i did, I also having  Bluetooth Classic turned on in the blaze settings So far since I have  paired Ph. with Blaze classic I haven't had any issues with receiving notifications etc I nearly gave up and was going to change trackers but now loving the blaze like i did with my old Ph

My phone won't pick up my messages , phone calls,  notifications.  I have an S8+   it records my steps but won't pick up anything else.  Did you resolve the problem.

@T.J no tracker can be manually connected to the bluetootg, this is the job of the app

@Aggies35, im not sure what the problem is. You say the phone won't pick up messages, if the phone isnt receiving messages the phone wont be able to send them onto the tracker.

Let me rephrase. My phone works properly.  Just the fitbit isn't connecting for messages , calls and apps. But it does sync my steps. Im dumbfounded about what's happening..

Do you recieve alerts on the phones lock screen? Does the app have permission to access sound and notification.

Yes I'm receiving alerts etc.

F your receiving alerts as popups while the phone is locked, they should be passed on to the blaze.

Have you checked the Blaze itself to make sure that the notifications are turned on? Swipe down on the clock screen.

Yup same problem here...got from wife, disconnected from her iPhone, deleted from account and paired to my account and to phone.  The tracker syncs but no push.  Checked all settings and all is as should be. No text, email, phone calls or other apps set to push.  Kinda upset about it

Can't see this solution.  I am having same issue and nothing seems to work in getting notifications to my Blaze.  No texts, calendar or other stuff that worked great with my iPhone.  Are there settings in the Fitbit app that need to be set other than allowing notifications in order to get it to my phone?

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine!

If you are having issues with your trackers connecting with your phones, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? and My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) posts.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy

It's Samsung. After awhile my Samsung updated, then my blaze updated. So keep checking on Samsung to update.
