I'm getting 2 of every text notification and I can't figure out why?

Every text that I receive on my phone, I will get the message twice on my blaze. I have tried turning notifications off and back on, tried it with and without the "widget tray" and I'm still getting two of every text..... Any suggestions?

You could try resetting the Fitbit itself, by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. You could also try removing the Fitbit from your account and adding it back. Hope this helps.

What messaging app are you using. A lot of use that use Messaging+ have this issue. Except we get a white rectangular box that says message. Twice. Not the actual text. 

 

Are you actually getting the actual text message? I'd rather get that twice than whats happening with mine now.

Yeah, it's the actual text I am getting twice. I use the texting app "textra". I have tried resetting the fitbit. I have tried everything I can think to try. Have sorta reached the point now of "oh well, at least I'm not missing notifications" lol although reading through them would be faster if I wasn't getting duplicates..... It's not a big deal or anything, I was just curious if anyone else was having the problem or might know how to fix it.

I use YATTA and have the same experience as Message+ users, 2x messages and the 2nd just says message... a complete pain in the butt

When I first got my blaze it would say that I have 2 (or more) text messages but I could not read them, completely worthless.  Then somewhere along the line it switched over to seeing multiple text messages, sometimes up to 5.  I've tried everything, resetting, removing bluetooth, every setting on and off.  Nothing helps.  I'm working with support but they have no clue.  It's a definite bug that the developers need to fix.

 

I'm using  messaging+.

Disregard my reply of yesterday. It didn't work for texts sent from anyone other than myself.  Sorry.

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine! Woman Very Happy I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze and texts messages? If you do, as recommended restart your trackers and test them. You can also turn off and turn on this feature.

Yes, still have the problem. I have reset this thing more times than I care to mention. In addition to other problems like syncing, I come to the realization that I bought myself a $200 target for my new rifle. What a piece of crap this thing is.

I have also reset my fitbit and turned notifications on and off and restarted my phone - everything I can think of. I did not have this issue upon purchase - it only started a couple months ago. HELP!
