What is one of the most problematic issues with the Fitbit Surge and Blaze and so on is, that you can’t wear clothes over your tracker and track proper trainings. As soon as you start to sweat or there is humidity under the clothes it starts to pause, stop or end trainings. This can’t be interrupted by any user action. This is one of the biggest design failures that were made in the Fitbit, to put a fancy touchscreen that can be trigger via clothes over the function to track proper trainings. There is even not a function to deactivate the buttons to prefer a proper walk or hiking training. Please change this. And it annoys a lot.

People have been asking for a simple screen lock for a long time now, unfortunately it doesn't seem fitbit have any plans to implement this though.

In this case maybe the next Fitness watch will be a Garmin. 😉
