Inaccurate daily steps

My Blaze has been showing I've hit the 10,000 daily steps, circle is complete & buzzes like it does when you hit the steps. However the actual step count number will say say something else anywhere from 6000 -9000 these past few days.  Has anyone had this happen?

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

Thank you but its already been re-set multiple times & even turned off trying to fix it.  I've already contacted  customer support, was just hoping someone else had ran into this & knew how to fix.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Have reset it multiple times. This started last week
