Hmmm that's strange @Taylorrae428.
I would recommend that for getting more accurate distance readings, you update your stride length by doing the following:
- Go to a track or some place where you're sure of the distance.
- Count your steps as you walk across that distance, making sure you travel at least 20 steps.
- Divide the total distance (in feet) taken by the number of steps to get your stride length.
To adjust your stride lengths using the Fitbit app, go to Account and find the Stride Length setting.
To adjust your stride lengths using the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon in the top right and go to Settings > Personal Info. The stride length fields are in the Body Info section.
The changes take effect after you sync your tracker.
Now, also to make sure that GPS tracking will work fine, I'd recommend turning off location services from your phone settings and turn it back on and see if this makes any difference.
Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else. Welcome to the Community! 🙂

When I look at the GPS data points its clear the recording frequency is far too low.
I've tried recording alongside and without other apps, disabling power saving and with paired Bluetooth but it just seems to do what it likes.
