Hey, I'm not sure whats happening but the discrepancy between the exercise machines and the fitbit blaze is huge (and those machines are usually supposed to overestimate and this blaze is overestimating even THAT)
stats:
female
75kg
165cm
exercise 5-6times a week
some examples of what it has said:
treadmill: 253 cals/28min (9cals a min) and i was WALKING most of the time... (treadmill said 140cals)
walk: 46 calories at a 8'02" pace for 4 MINUTES
run: 18 calories at 2 minutes and a 11'33" pace
weights: 95 CALORIES FOR 9 MINUTES
walk: 81 cal 10'21" pace for 8 min 40sec
it should not be this easy to burn cals.
machines are saying about 50-75% of this amount
what the heck is going on!! I bought this fitbit so I could have more accurate calories counted rather than using the machines. Should I take it back or how do I fix it? Ive had to minimise the overestimation by usinf walk instead of treadmill when im on the treadmill but I really dont want to do that because I spent this money to have ACCURATE results.
thanks heaps.
