Intial Experiences with the Blaze

I would be getting my Blaze in 10 days . Wanted to know if any of you has shifted from the Surge or the Force . Also intial user experiences would also be appreciated.

I've switched from Surge + One to Blaze + One and I am very happy with the change.

 

I find the Blaze much more comfortable to wear and much better looking. 

 

As you know it doesn't have built-in GPS but this is not an issue with me. I'm quite happy with the connected GPS and most of the time don't even bother with that (and just let the Blaze calculate distance from steps and stride).

 

I've had mine a couple of weeks. Setup (via the dongle that came with the Surge) went very smoothly (although the initial firmware upgrade took quite a bit longer than was suggested). I've had no issues so far and battery life seems to be as advertised - although it's a bit hard for me to judge as I turn it off those days I wear the One instead.

 

I have to say that the One is still my favourite for day-to-day wear but I like to wear the Blaze on those days I am particularly active or hiking.
