I read that the blaze being discontinued, is this true? If so I am seriously unhappy. I just got my blaze in January and I’d have waited if I knew it was being discontinued/replaces. 😡

Well considering I spent $200+ 2 months ago... I don’t really feel like spending that much again.

From what I have read it looks like it is being replaced by the Versa. The only differences I saw were the Versa has gps, is waterproof vs. water resistant, has Fit Pay and has only 4-day battery vs. 5-day with the Blaze. I have owned the Blaze since it debuted and love it.

Same happened to me! Have it since January 2018, very dissapointed!

I've owned the Blaze for two years and I'm very happy with my Blaze. So far I have not only received security and stability updates but also one feature update and one Watch Face update.

I understand if there is no feature update anymore due to the new Fitbit Versa. But at least one last Watch Face update should still be there for the Blaze users before Fitbit silently end the support of the Blaze.

I got mine in February. According to Fitbit, the blaze isn't water resistant. I rinsed water over it and then it wouldn't charge or come back on and they won't replace it . The device was never submerged, more like if you got caught in the rain for a minute. Gave me a 25% off coupon for older devices. Can't use it to replace the Blaze or use to upgrade to the versa.

Thank you. I need to replace my Fitbit  and this was very helpful in helping me decide as I was considering upgrading to the Blaze; but I will no longer be doing so.

Honestly the blaze will not stop working, it's fine to keep using it in my opinion.

But that said, I am going to buy some bands now.

A month after I got my Blaze it was discontinued, I was pretty disappointed. If I would have known that before buying the Blaze then I would have just gotten the Zip, saved the money and still having a relevant tracker. I feel that Fitbit has thrown people who own a Blaze under the bus for the Iconic. It seems that Fitbit doesn't want to do updates anymore for the Blaze and leaving us the Customers, what to do now? Most of us are not going to just give up on the Blaze and then spend hundreds of more dollars on the Iconic. Obviously Fitbit wasn't going to tell Customers that the Blaze wasn't being made anymore then no one would buy it and they'd be left with all this stock that no one would buy. Now that people had bought the Blaze, had it be discontinued. Fitbit can laugh knowing they got rid of old stock, made money off of it and can change things towards marketing towards the Iconic. Why do you think when they were giving out discounts, it was only for the Blaze and lower, it wasn't for the Iconic. Fitbit wasn't going to shoot themselves in the foot of course. Why not screw over the Customers and have them be mad and get them to buy another Fitbit product. Fitbit is at the top of the tracker game still but there are companies that are coming up that are going to be better. They are going to have better Customer Service and do more as a product then what Fitbit is doing. **ahem** roles downhill and all the Blaze Customers are not happy. All that we wanted was some updates and some watch faces. Way take the money and run Fitbit.

my Blaze NEVER lasts 5 days... ever. it's a strong 2 day battery life on this thing.

They could easily update the software or even open source it so people could make new watch faces at least.

I've been using the Blaze since June of 2016.  I've never had any issues with it other than firmware upgrades that were slow to install.  It's the best watch I've ever owned.  I plan to get the Versa when the Blaze wears out.  For $200.. the Blaze has been excellent "bang for the buck."  The only gripe I have with the Blaze and MOST fitness trackers on the market is the inability to properly track stationary bike workouts.  Other than that, the Blaze has been outstanding for tracking my heart rate during bike rides and step count for tennis matches and lawn work with a push mower/trimmer.

The same has happened to me.  Plus my screen is loosing pixels as well.

Kinda irritared.   I have had my blaze for 6+ months maybe spoken to customer service twice because it's not tracking the correct steps and my screen is going out.   Spoke with customer service tonight not one mention.of the blaze being discontinued. But they did offer me a replacement hmmm how is this possible interesting

No wonder QVC is selling it for $99.96!

@meghanamanda   This might explain why I continue to receive the same responses from Fitbit support, which is always the same ‘we are aware of this and working on it’.  They been ‘working’ on it for over a year.
