Is anyone else highly disappointed with how the Blaze looks??

I just received my blue Blaze today. I haven't even turned it on yet but I gotta say I am really disappointed on how it looks. Its clunky, very square, and the blue band is a brighter blue- not a darker blue as pictured. I didnt even turn it on because it looks back and I am just going to return this thing.

Is it just me or is anyone else highly disappointed? Looks like a block stuck on my wrist... brutal. I feel duped - but kudos to the photography done by Fitbit marketing team!

It is very square but low profile doesn't seem clunky to me. I need to wear to get a real sense of how it will feel on my wrist though, just got mine today. I do wish the band was a little more tapered at least where it buckles as it seems a bit too wide for my liking. I have the charge hr and found that band to be wide and sometimes uncomfortable even sleeping. So I dunno about the Blaze, might sleep in my charge hr.

Actually I was quite worried it would feel too big after seeing the pictures. But I think it looks fine on my wrist - and I'm only 5'2". It's comfortable to wear in my mind. I do have some things I wish were different, but that is the case with every watch I've tried 🙂

It's an activity tracker, not a Rolex.  I think clunky is overstating, and all of these watches are "square".

I recieved my blaze today and it is what it is, a device to track my activity.   If I am going to go out for a special occasion I will wear a dresser watch.  I used it tonight to track biking on a stationery bike.

Not sure why but no distance showed on the bike stats but my steps increased dramatically.   I had to manually enter the results of my bike workout.  I compared my heart rate on the blaze to the chest strap

monitor and it was perfect.  I am anxious to see the results of my sleeping tonight.  For the most part I am fairly satisfied with the watch.

I was looking forward to the Blaze, because of itd size, it is not as clunky or bulky as the Surge. Yet it does everything that the Surge does and more, with the exeption of the GPS moved to the phone. I am pleasantly surprised, in that it is so lite that i done notice it on the arm.
The Band seems to be a little stiff, but over time this will shame.
My biggest complaint is the Blue band for when i want to dress up, but ordered a blaxk band amd thinking of getting a silver one. Maybe I'll just buy a replacement watch band.

I got mine yesterday and have been wearing it for nearly a day and a half. I'm 5'1", and I don't feel like it's clunky or chunky, but then I have a boyfriend watch that I love to wear, too. The face is a bit large, but it looks much better on my wrist than I expected after seeing the pictures of people wearing the Blaze. I wore it to play golf today and loved how it felt; it's very comfortable and I wouldn't have even known it was there except that I kept wanting to look at it to check my steps and heart rate ( I walk pretty fast on the golf course).

I dont find it clunkly at all

Well designed. Not heavy like surge. Sleek. Maybe you never had a surge?

The Blaze is sweet...................

The Blaze was shown in many images at preorder and looks exactly the same. Today's technology in batteries kinda dictate the device's size. My only disappointment is the screen could cover more of the face but that, too, would take more power.

I agree with @WendyB, while the Blaze screen is larger than the Fitbit Surge this is more than made up with by its lower profile and lighter weight. I have been wearing mine for almost 24 hours now and almost forget it's on.  Only almost because it's my new toy and I constantly am playing with it so I can't completely forget about it 🙂

Same here - I have small frame, and don't feel it is large or clunky.  Wore it all last night - I didn't notice it on my wrist at all.

I've got to say that I had similar feelings to op the first time I opened the box but the more I wear it the more I like it. I actually think now that the watch looks really cool. I like its low profile and sharp edges. I read some reviews where word "retro" was used to describe the look of the phone but I actually think it looks futuristic. Honestly I think apple phone looks retro.

I've had mine for about a week and think it's great. This isn't a smart watch it's an activity tracker. The release pictures look exactly like the finished product I have. It sounds to me like you were expecting something like the Apple Watch.

I agree. I'm 5'2" as well. It's fine. I don't look for perfection in anything. Yeah, it's square, and the frame is a little strange but it really isn't about style. If I wanted styling I wouldn't even want a fitness tracker.
It also feels better on my wrist than the HR. The band is thinner. Wider yes but thinner. It isn't heavy. It's fine and so far I'm liking it. Don't let it stress us. Life has enough stresses of its own.

I got mine tonight and it feels wimpy to me. I'be using a Suunto and this blaze feels more like breeze. It feels too light for me and I prefer something like a watch.

Will give a shot for a couple of days, oherwise will give it to my wife. If she does not take it, I will give it to my Mom.
