Is it safe using Fitbit Blaze day and night 24 hours or almost daily

After 2 months using fitbit blaze everday 24 hours or almost. Last night I after shower ai have forgothen to put it on as I was too tired.
I slept recklessly and felt my wrist strangely and the pain on the wrist (i do not wear my watch very tightly just nice) perhaps due to vibrations? (The silent alarms, the calls, messages, etc)

Today I wonder if there any way to reduce the strenght of the vibration? (I just canceled all the notifications to my blaze to reduce number of vibration)

Also I wonder is it safe the wearing if the lazer all the time? ( New technology is great but because it is new we do not know the real side effects yet, I wonder if you have any security proof?)

I love my blaze, it does motivate me a lot in doing fitness but after last night I have doupts and kinda scared.

Help!

Hello and welcome to the forums @lindor

I've worn the Blaze since I first got it and for more than three years there has been a Fitbit on my left wrist. Flex, Charge, Charge HR and now the Blaze and I wear them unless it's charging or I'm showering. No problems so far.

There is no way to reduce the vibration strength. Does it bother you during the day?

Try loosening the band by one notch when you go to bed. I do this

It's great to see you around @lindor@Odyssey13 and @Driver8666 thanks for stopping by and the information provided. As mentioned, there's not an option to adjust the vibration of the tracker, I recommend checking the Adjustable vibration strength request, vote for it and leave your comment.

About wearing the tracker, you can use it 24/7 without an inconvenience, just check the wear and care article to have tips about how to take care of your Blaze.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

I’ve worn Fitbit for 4 years pretty much 24-7. First one I bought was charge. I used that for 2 years. Now I have the blaze. I can no longer wear it due to wrist pain which I continue to experience even though I stopped wearing it 3 months ago. A wrist brace does not help as the support isn’t where I need it to be. I’m still devastated that I can no longer wear it.

I am on my second Fitbit I wore a Surge for about a year. I found it gave me headaches at times and body fatigue. I sold it and a two months ago started wearing a Charge 2 I got on eBay. It went well for about four weeks now I am now getting the same symptoms 😢 I may be part of a segment of people who are sensitive to RF waves and Green led light. I am going to experiment and take it off for 72 hrs. If my symptoms retreat then like with the Surge it’s time to accept I can’t wear a fitness tracker or smart watch. BTW, had the same issues with iwatch 1 series which I also had to give up.

In my opinion, it is COMPLETELY safe. Even though you may get attacked by the notifications at night, you can just turn off the notifications every night.

Just take off the watch at night, and put it to charge on your desk, like I do.

@DylanPritsker  you shouldn't be charging the Blaze overnight.
