Hi,
I'm considering purchasing the Blaze but have read so many negative reviews that it has left me concerned about whether it is really worth it. Would appreciate hearing back from Blaze owners who have had theirs for 6 months +. Any regrets purchasing the Blaze? Run into any issues? Any words of advice? Thanks.

Hi there @NJC. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I can share my opinion as both, a Blaze owner and as a Moderator.
Out of all Fitbit trackers, this is the one I like the most. Probably because of the color display. I'm an active person, not an athelte but I like to exercise very often, ride my bike, etc. and the exercise shortcuts are great for this matter. Also, I use Fitstar and while you follow the exercises on the FitStar app, it takes your heart rate from the tracker to provide a wider image of how you did on your FitStar workout.
Another great thing is that you can customize the bands by changing them and I personally have not had any syncing problem. Some users may experience issues but this happens with any type of technology piece but rest assure that if you come across any problem, you're covered under the warranty and can reach out to the Support Team for them to help you out.
Now, something to keep in mind is to make sure that you will be using a compatible mobile device as some users don't notice this and some features will not work if the phone you're using is not compatible so that's something to keep in mind.
Overall, it's very user friendly and I totally love it. Hopefully other folks here can share their thoughts and experiences with their Blazes!

Hi NJC,
My wife gave me a Fitbit Blaze for Christmas. During the initial setup it synced once with my windows 10 PC, but was unable to communicate with it as I do not have Bluetooth on my Win 10 computer.
Bought a Bluetooth Dongle - no joy as it was an earlier version of Bluetooth and so no comms with PC.
Ordered a Bluetooth Dongle from Fitbit and after a month or more one finally arrived today.
Still does not appear to link my PC and the Blaze.
Would like to comment on its use as a fitness aid as I am working hard at getting back into cycling after having had a right hip joint replacement op in Nov 16. Sorry, cannot say this is a good or bad fitness monitor as I have never managed to get it to setup properly or communicate with my PC.

Hi there @vonernsk. Welcome to the FItbit Community Forums! 😄
I'm sorry you haven't been able to set up your tracker yet 😕 Do you by any chance have a compatible phone that you can use for syncing your Blaze? You can check the list of compatible devices here.
Let me know if you need more help with this!

I am going to add to @FerdinandFitbit message. I completely agree with him.
Right now, at amazon, it goes for $150 if i recall. It is a very good price.
It was announced that the next firmware update will include Vo2Max. When that happens, that will even make the watch more attractive.
The display is very crisp and the watch works well. The strength is also the app. Very good.
The only thing is that if you are into HIIT, then the heart rate is not accurate. I tried many times but it falls short. That's ok really because I only do that 25 mn in my day. The rest of the time, the heart rate seems accurate.
There is a few drawback and users have asked about the time out on the display, built-in GPS and so on.
Personally, i do not expect to get everything for $150.
Things are moving fast in the fitness industry. New products are announced. Some may show, some may not.
If i was you, i would give it a try. If you do not like it, just return it. Judge for yourself.
Good luck.

I regret purchasing the Blaze. I have had other Fitbit trackers and the Blaze by far is the most inaccurate when it comes to steps. I have been reading some of the other messages on the board and this has been an issue for over a year and there is still no fix. My sister was considering purchase the Blaze and I told her she should really consider looking at another tracker by Fitbit or another brand altogether.

Indeed, that may be correct about the number of steps. I do not care about that. I walk way too much during my job so this is not a concern for me. But it is indeed a decisive factor if it is important to you. You then should consider that.
I have both an android and Iphone but I am really waiting to see the apple watch 3. I bet you that this time it may be a great fitness watch. I am waiting...
