It says unknown when someone calls me

Hey! I just bought a fitbit blaze and when someone calls me, it says unknown and not the person. What can i do?

SOnce thebptonlem is in the v phone settings, we woll needvto know what operating sytem, and mabr the app used for receiving calls. Note: On my android the calling app and thevrrcieving app are not the same.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. I was told to download the fitbit app from my playstore and thats should do it. I connected my device and i can see when someone messages me and who it is from but when someone calls, it says unknown for every number.

When you receive a call, on the phones look screen, what do you see?

Also have you given Fitbit permission to access your contacts?

I have given the device all the access it needs and permissions. In my actual phone it comes up normal swipe to answer yes or no.  Could it be because my phone is locked?

Thats why i asked what is displayed on the phones lock screen. On many Androids tye user has to go to the setting -so7nd and tell the OS to show on lock screen.

I would also go to settings apliciation manager -  fitbit - permission and check if it has access to the contats.

Ok. Now it does not let me accept or decline the call. I can see the names now.

What phone did you say that you have? The ability to answer calls or only on iOS.

I know, that is why you are unable to answer or reject calls. This feature is only found on iOS phones.
